Welcome to Yasmin's Party Box!

I have organised events professionally and written about entertaining for over ten years. Although I've never been one to turn down an invitation to a good party, I enjoy playing hostess myself the most.

It can be a simple dinner for six in your kitchen or a birthday party for sixty to dance the night away. Sharing scrumptious food, great music and fun with friends and family, is always a joy. With that in mind, I think it's worth putting in a little effort to make the most of special occasions. However, with our busy lives we need to be able to spend the minimum time looking for the items we need. I've wasted a frustrating amount of energy trawling the internet to find the quality of items I need, to create the party I want. Most party stores out there seem to sell plastic, ill designed, badly made, gaudy or very over priced products. So I decided to create my own party store, Yasmin's Party Box. 

Yasmin's Party Box will sell an edit of affordable, well designed, responsibly produced, sustainable and vintage products for entertaining. These will range from children's dressing up clothes, drinking straws, party bags, candle holders and tableware to outdoor dinning rugs, decorations, greeting cards, party dresses, gifts, party beauty and make-up. There will also be guest collaborations with a selection of talented designers and specialists in their fields, such as Jade Jagger, Pearle Lowe, Lauren Kemp and Jo Wood, to bring a variety in design to Yasmin's Party Box.

I begin this new venture believing that it's possible to make a living while being kind to the planet and the people on it. Also that it's the responsibility of all businesses to reduce their impact on the environment as much as possible and to make sure that their products are made in fair conditions. We aim to be mindful of this at Yasmin's Party Box.
