Ecofêtes founder Yasmin Mills
Eco-event organiser and sustainability advocate Yasmin Mills began her career modelling, then working in production and presenting lifestyle, fashion TV. After the birth of her daughters, she wanted to spend less time away from them.
So having always had a passion for entertaining, she spent the following two decades writing columns/blogs about entertaining, for publications such as The Sunday Times & Harpers Bazaar and entertaining guide books such as “How To Party” and “How To Eco Picnic” creating planet friendly picnics. All the while organising events for private and luxury brand clients, including Jade Jagger, Roger Vivier, Land Rover Jaguar, Maserati, Kelly Hoppen, Sadie Frost, Noel Fielding, Pam Hogg and Jo Wood organics.
Launching Ecofêtes with sustainability at it’s core.
Yasmin became frustrated by the amount of single use plastic, food and even flowers that were thrown away after events and as a vegetarian, increasingly uncomfortable working with un-environmentally friendly meat based menus.
This led her to search for greener ways to organise events and founding the sustainable lifestyle & retail brand Ecofêtes.
Ecofêtes Retail -
Ecofêtes sells affordable, well designed, responsibly produced, sustainable, up-cycled and vintage homeware. From The Ruby Collection of napkins, tablecloths & cushions made with vintage and up-cycled silk saris to vintage or recycled glassware and table lamps.
Yasmin hopes to encourage people to buy responsibly produced beautiful eco-lux products that are made to last.
Ecofêtes TV & Inspiration Talks -
Ecofêtes TV is a platform to discuss current sustainability issues in an accessible form. Beginning with Ecofêtes Inspiration Talks that focus on green pioneers and ‘How To Be Green Diaries’ full of eco tips.

At Ecofêtes we aim to be mindful in all areas and believe that it's possible to run an all round circular business that is successful, as well as being kind to the planet and the people on it. Also that it's the responsibility of all individuals and businesses to reduce their impact on the environment as well as making sure that their products are made in fair conditions.
